Connect your AI assistant to Apex Heat

Apex Heat runs a remote MCP server, so you can manage your building projects — create them, edit fields, review calculations and generate reports — straight from your own AI assistant. Add the server below in the client you use.

During the pilot, access is limited to allowlisted Apex Heat accounts. If your connection is refused, ask us to enable MCP access for your account.

Claude

In the Claude apps (web, desktop or Cowork):

  1. Open Settings and go to Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector.
  3. Paste the MCP server address below and confirm.

In the connector's Advanced settings, leave OAuth Client ID and Client Secret empty — Apex Heat registers Claude automatically (Dynamic Client Registration). Pre-registered client credentials are not supported yet.

On Team and Enterprise workspaces only an organization Owner can add a connector — ask your Owner to add it once for the whole workspace.

Claude Code

Run this command in your terminal, then sign in when prompted:

claude mcp add --transport http apexheat https://www.apexheat.io/api/mcp

Check the connection with the /mcp command inside Claude Code.

ChatGPT

In ChatGPT with developer mode turned on:

  1. Open Settings, go to Connectors and enable developer mode.
  2. Add a custom connector and paste the MCP server address below.

Write-capable custom connectors require a ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu plan; on Pro, developer-mode connectors stay read-only.

Microsoft Copilot

Microsoft Copilot is enabled through tenant-level onboarding managed by your administrator — it is not self-serve. Ask your Microsoft 365 administrator, or contact us, to enable Apex Heat for your organization.

Trouble signing in?

Sign-in uses your existing Apex Heat credentials. If you cannot authenticate, sign in to the Pro app first to confirm your account: pro.apexheat.io
